SCOPE: To develop web application that does management & reporting for a material handling system.
Galaxy developed a web based control panel to view, manage and control the material handling system. This is developed to work both in intranet as well as internet. This has role based authentication and authorization to ensure secured access to the system. All the components developed here - role based authentication & authorization, reporting, logging etc are designed to be completely re-usable components. The system is designed to make the system simple but still secured. The system has interfaces with variuos hardware interfaces such as biometric scanner, card reader and printer.
This application is designed to work with thirdparty UI and third party billing system.
Like every UI development, Galaxy has delivered wireframe specification and sample UI screens to customer to signoff on the requirements. Galaxy ensured that the UI is consistant and support dynamic images in the grid view.
